Application: The product TetrakisHydroxymethyl Phosphonium Sulphate is an environmentally proven iron sulphide remover (FeS) and it is used in the oilfields to remove the iron sulphide. THPS is easily soluble in the production water in the oil fields, cooling towers, pulp & paper whitewater, seawater and other solutions. It can be combined with zinc, gluteraldehyde, etc. to provide excellent corrosion inhibition, scale inhibition and iron sulphide remover.
