Effectiveness
Tests have been conducted in various institutions here in Singapore, Malaysia and even as far as Australia. Basically, Germitrol Air Sterilizers are specially designed to kill micro-organisms in the air. Imagine, if each one of us do have "Microscopic" eyes, it can be a blessing that we can then come to know the level of germ load content in any given room. But.... think again, this gift can also be frightening..... we might get horrified each time we open these "Microscopic" eyes as we would be seeing germs lurking everywhere around us.
With Germitrol, we can breathe easier, knowing that these germs are being killed each time they enter the Germicidal Chamber of each Germitrol.
It is also comforting to know that in a chamber test done in Australia, the four types of harmful bacteria......Staph. Aureus, Legionnaire's Bacteria, Salmonella and E Coli are very effectively killed (Note: KILLED, not TRAPPED or DEACTIVATED) with such incredible percentage as high as 99.9999%.

Germitrol systems do not trap as trapping means hoarding such micro-organisms into the interior of any air cleaner systems, causing them to grow in abundance and often resulting in a reservoir of harmful germs, where if we can imagine that when the blow of the fan in any such air cleaner ....can scoop / blow downstream such accumulated concentration of germs .... in an amplified mode!
Germitrol systems do not deactivate viruses or bacteria as claimed by some products. Firstly viruses that are deactivated can be reactivated. The characteristics of viruses are that they themselves gets deactivated once they cannot find a host to manifest itself with.
